Game(s): Day of the Tentacle
Song(s): Main Theme

I started this project five months ago.

*Five.*

There was just a prolonged period during which I couldn't put any work into it, and during which I had a block. Bear in mind that this song progresses over a good deal of time during which I learned a lot about FruityLoops. So if it sounds a little more novice than some of my other stuff, forgive me.

But still, I always loved the game and I thought the song was catchy. For those of you who don't know what Day of the Tentacle is, it's actually the sequel to an old DOS game called Maniac Mansion. It's about tentacles trying to take over the world.

One of the most awesome chapters in video game history.

Anywhoo, enjoy!

However, I love it. it's catchy cheery, and never stays in one place for too long.

"nice job, kyle!"

date: February 8, 2008

well, i FINALLY got around to newgrounds, and i am glad i did. great job dude. love both your new songs. but the odd thing about listening to this song is that it reminds me of boss music from less conventional RPG's (like super mario RPG: legend of the seven stars. ya' know, games that though they are RPG's, they at times seem a little... odd.) maybe i am just being weird.
keep on rockin'!
sincerely,
that one dude you know.

p.s. since i forgot my email account password, i'll tell you here: my gambit worked! i am back on the project, and they agreed to my terms, a 50/50 split. (in the end, your music turned out to be a strong gambling chip, so thank you.)

Ok.. Well it's no biggy because I knew you'd finish this song eventually.
It's a creeper song. LOL
Good work on it though.
I still can't get over how odd this song is.
