Some glows and shines

~X~

A pretty atmospheric picture! The fear shines through in all but her posture... might be like Jack said about the legs being too spread out, or her leaning against the wall? I realize now that it might be supposed to look like she's trying to hide, but my first impression is it was more like a stand-off, she's just sitting there, as still as possible... but somehow she appears a bit more relaxed, physically, than the monster merits. Otherwise though, great work!

Thanks! Guess I really gotta keep in mind about posture in certain scenarios.

Ooo! Man, I'm with DeathInk on this one; you've gotta change up that icon so you can get the views you deserve! I'm glad I stumbled upon this one through the halloween2014 tag, but honestly, if I'd have seen the icon in the art portal, I'd have skipped right over it!

Keep up the lovely work regardless; you did a great job.

ZaneZansorrow responds:

Thanks Sab!

Dude, this is pretty awesome! But no one would ever click on that icon :( I think I see why you choose that misleading icon, but still its a shame more people didn't see this. Who knows, maybe soon more people will.

ZaneZansorrow responds:

Thanks, I like to think that if anyone ever click on the icon that they will get more from what they expect :)

Love it, dude. Excellent color choice and composition. The only issue I can take is the girl's pose feels a little too subtle. I think it's coming from her legs which are a little too spread out to convey "huddled in fear" as well as they could if she were more recoiled.
But overall I still love it, still gets five from me. Happy Halloween!

ZaneZansorrow responds:

Happy Halloween to you too Jack D Curleoest! Thanks for the critique :{3
