I relly like it's teeth and face; the wing, too, is a masterpiece.
A single ding to the score-it was probably something you either never noticed or noticed half-way through and didn't bother with it but..
Proportionally speaking...
That dragon's got a HUGEass underbite. I think the lower jaw is about a third longer than the top. Other than that, one hell of a piece my friend.

Men are a bit of a letdown- a bit matchsticky somehow.
...then I certainly am amazed by how detailed you made it! Especially the reflection of the light that comes out from the flames: adds more extra and realisticness to it.

I am the guy who did the original dragon on the youtube link, and I find nothing wrong with what this person did here. As a matter of fact, this painting concept has been replicated about a dozen times that I've seen via other people's art style.
But it's okay-- really, it's flattering.
Great job.
I have had other people literally TAKE images off of my site and say they are the ones who did them- and that is wrong... But this is not the same thing.
I encourage this.
It's kinda like when musicians/bands do covers of another band's songs. It's only bad if they say they are the one's who made them up.

I nearly shat myself when I read this
so if the authors happy, others should be happy too (I know Im happy!)
There's nothing stolen about this pic.
If you take the time to compare the vid you'll notice Nekow uses a lot more dark colour than the vid.
To artist, would be good to link reference so that we can compare what you did well and what not so well (like your choice of colours). And avoid these "i think its stolen" reviews.

btw, he clearly says its he used a reference, so try reading a little before you rag on him about copying.
RubenFernandes has a point your dragon is a copy of the one done in the link he provided background and everything only difference is the shading of the dragon and adding people being incinerated

well I said "references used". Its not just a copy, I used the original as a photo reference and did EVERYTHING from blank, its an eye exercise!
You are a very talented individual. You could easily make a career out of this, you could design banners, work on website backgrounds. You have a very very great talent, Don't quit. If you love doing it keep it up! Amazing picture, amazing detail, amazing artist.
