Rudek watching his comic's pledges soar! (color practice) [post edit ver]

Fan art for a webcomic and Kickstarter for printing said webcomic! I just discovered this comic recently and I'm baffled that this isn't stupid popular. I love everything about it, especially that it's a period piece!

"A webcomic about life along the Polish-Soviet border in 1929."

First of all, great job getting me interested in a comic you like!

It's a great little piece. I'd work on the ears a bit, they aren't quite right. It almost looks like a fox Chobit. The chest hair should probably be puffing out a bit more as well, as it does in the comic. Otherwise it's a bit distracting.

That's all I've got criticism-wise. Great color work, and since that was your main focus I'd say awesome job.

Ack, I was so focused on the silhouette I goofed as hard as on my last anthro wearing a hat (which I sorta fixed). As animated as these ears can be, traditional hats are seemingly to be less and less plausible in my book (At least for big-eared ones)

I had to google Chobit, learned something new today. Thanks for the info and crit!

I'm getting shades of Robin Hood. I like!

maficmelody responds:

Awesome =D

Whoa, this comic looks really interesting..
Imma check it out.

maficmelody responds:

It's a good one, it has a great style worth checking out.
