Better known as Death, this version Mortimer has been dragged into the human world and had his cowl, scythe, armlet, and horse stolen from him. He's also been out of commission for about fifty years, so the world is completely populated by sentient zombies trying to...*ahem* live their lives as if they never died. To make things worse, his human form *is* living and breathing, so along with his original captors trying to get him back, he has to fend off the occasional zombie who forgets human brains are no longer on the menu.

(Just a note, his brothers think his predicament is hilarious. And Pestilence has a son named Pollution, who's very popular these days.)
