Udongein

Share

Made in Colors! (on my Nintendo DS).

This character is the property of ZUN.

This is Udongein from the Touhou series... though I've barely played the games, so I don't really know anything about her, and I probably got some details on her design wrong. I made this on my Nintendo DS using homebrew software called "Colors!" during some breaks at work.

Dope

Especially for being drawn on a DS.

its alright

maybe a bit too fuzy at times and the title in the middle of the picture is completly unessesary if you must sign it do it in the right lower corner and smaaallll print

DannyP responds:

Well, a Nintendo DS screen is pretty small. My DS Lite's is 6.3 cm width by 4.7 cm height, which is less than half the size of this picture (13.55 by 10.16). Plus I'm not so good at drawing with the stylus, plus Colors! doesn't have a lot of features and it only has one layer, so it's hard to get everything looking right.
As for the name... well, I had room to spare, I dunno.

But it's not like I expect a 10/10 or something since this really isn't that great.

Hey this is a.tually alright

You did a ni.e job with the sky
tha hills are a..eptable,quite ni.e though there are better te.hniques
for the .hara.ter though there is another style to do it.
but you did it with a DS not bad

DannyP responds:

I'm not too proud of that sky, myself... Sin.e I only had one layer to work with, I had to be .areful not to draw the sky over Udongein or the hills, so you .an see how it doesn't look very smooth when it gets around there.
Well, thanks for the .omments (is that letter taboo?).

Nice!

Very nice art work, especially shadowing :D

DannyP responds:

Well, thanks.

wow reisen is here....

that's a ling arm.... maybe she's just "manipulating my sight" but thats the only real flaw in this work...

great job

DannyP responds:
