Months passed without any new drawings (excluding Cloudflash Mix comics). Sometimes I just have to be free and draw what I feel like without restrictions, y'know? Sometimes I don't want to redraw the same characters in a comic, draw animation frames in pixel art, or draw clean, detailed line art. On a whim, I decided to draw Ness. I started by getting him ready to swing his bat, then the rest just kinda fell into place. He'd have to swing at something, but what? A meteor? Mr. Saturn? I went with a starman's little lightning bolt. Naturally, there'd have to be a starman in that case. As for a background, I briefly Googled some Earthbound battle backgrounds, thinking I'd try and copy one. They're pretty complicated, though, so I decided to just wing it.
