So I just finished building the map of Armonia, which is the setting for the fantasy novel I am working on "Earthbreaker"

The main character is Azora Geffendur, a wealthy bowyer's daughter who was one of hundreds that succumbed to the "dark sickness", a contagion of evil that came from the Necromancer's keep in the Gray Desert. The sickness was meant to overcome all it touched- the dead rise as zombies loyal to their master.

But what should have been a quick and crushing defeat for the kingdom of Armonia got more complicated when a handful of those who were possessed with the sickness were able to, by force of will, push the darkness out and return to the land of the living- they were not the same as before, each having come back with extraordinary powers different for each.

Azora Geffender is a mighty warrior of enormous strength and hardiness, and sets out from her town to join the war- joining forces with others who had been possessed and now lead the fight against the Necromancer, such as the Winter King, the Sigil, and Ember "Demoncall".

Azora's mother died from the sickness and her father blames her, so she seeks redemption not just for the kingdom, but in the eyes of her father as well.
