Inner Wars Pg3 Comic

Share

This is a comic I made for a college class this past semester. We had to make a letter to our past or future selves. I chose future me. This comic is about depression just heads up. People don’t like talking about it but as an artist I feel we have a way of braking the ice. I was inspired by Allie Brosh and her book Hyperbole and a Half. That said, mine is not humorous, charming and witty or cartoony, mine touches the darker notes and so does the graphics. There is no violence and it is not gory. The cover page is as close to gore as you are going to get.

Feedback would be quite helpful, as it won’t be too much longer before I must have a portfolio review. These reviews are importuned as this will allow an art student to remain an art student or be booted from the art program altogether. Please be polite but if you notice something especially if you are a grammar-nazi please point it out. As all art students have the chance to fix up anything they feel is not quite up to part.
This is importuned to me as I would like to go the extra mile and turn this into an actual comic book for the portfolio.
Thank you to anyone who leaves constructive criticism down below.
