I did this for an illustrator course I´m currently doing at school. The rules were to make a drawing or copy from a photo, and add shading by using either flat colors or gradients alike. No brush tool allowed, all done with the marvelous pen tool.

It's not supposed to be an exact replica of Samus so stop saying that the figure is all wrong. It is the artist's interpritation of Samus.
