Even though it's a more harsh version, I still found this to be quite a soothing and relaxing listen!! Great work!!

Maybe I'm used to harsher ambiances, so I could be biased here (said by Mr. Lo-fi, degraded tape noises and digital washing machines), but this was a pretty relaxing listen and I did enjoy the melodic build-up at the end. It's nice to see that phrase from a different angle. For me, this sounds like a hopeful aftermath.
This sounds like... you're reminiscing memories that didn't happen and you're teleported to a grassfield with a lone tree on a top of a hill. Personally, I prefer this version over the original because I like long chord progressions ;P The harsher sound design makes it more surreal and beautiful.
This reminds me of Boards of Canada & cinematic M83. <3
this sounds great! Is this all synth? That distorted drone sounds almost exactly like an ebow on a guitar!
