Reviews for "do wat simon seyz"

I like it! Giving my constructive feedback, it seems like there are a lot of competing sounds in some parts. (a bunch of instruments in the same range) Try adding some bassier lows and some highs to add more dynamic and contrast. Just an opinion, up to you in the end :)

ADR3-N responds:

Yo thanks! happy new year!

I think the slower parts should be more interspersed within the faster parts. Does that make sense? Like cut the intro down, get into the fast part sooner, it sounds great. But go back and forth between fast and slow parts more, like you do in the final third of the track. I think that mixes better. I'm definitely not qualified to review your work either, obviously, but that's what I as a listener (and avid EDM fan... go to a lot of festivals) would prefer to hear. You gotta think about the listener, what they're going thru when listening to your track. They're not engaged enough to hear everything you're setting up. You've got to GIVE IT to them. Deliver!

ADR3-N responds:

Oh wow, you left me a ton of reviews -- thank you!

And you're definitely right. This is honestly a piece I just shat out after it wouldn't get out of my head. I get what you're saying!

Here are my thoughts on this:

It sounds nice but its kind of slow. You're not changing things fast enough and that makes it somewhat boring. An example of this is the buildup to the drop, where it takes over 23 seconds to build up to it. I really like the style of the drops though. The effect at 3:29 is really cool, but I don't really like the drums that come in at 3:42. That's all I have to say for this.

ADR3-N responds:

Yo, big thank <3

I was thinking I might have cut the first drop to the second final chorus. The song itself is quite long. Eventually plan to record the lyrics and see what happens there. Thanks for the review!

Pretty good

ADR3-N responds:

Thank fren

Wow, what a funky beat! The percussion is so lively, and the synths accompany it well! It reminds me of the kahoot music (or at least of somebody's remix of the kahoot music).

ADR3-N responds:

Ooh, man I miss Kahoot. Used to do it for russian class all the time. If you like the synths, you should be able to replicate that bass with Psymon (it's literally just simon says noises), Berzerk distortion by Waves, and Brauer Motion, or another autopan

EDIT: and I forgot, stereolized tremelo

Thanks for the review!
