Well, okay
The cartoony graphics were kind of a mood-killer, but offset by the good choice of music. Unfortunately, although it was an admirable effort, this movie was kinda dragged down by the narrative, which seemed to be trying to mash the "pathos button" too hard. Just went through the same old, tired, step-by-step process of making a sad "dead friend" poem. Except it wasn't even a poem either, just a monologue with numerous line breaks. Hey, it was still a good try though, and still kinda sad in a quiet, nostalgic way. The sort of sad that almost makes you smile, y'know?
