Hello NT, I don't think you remember me but I email'd you once because I was curious about the genesis armada as to why it wasn't a diamond track, but that was probably like 2 years ago. Anyway, I really love this song man, especially the original ascending ending, I think you know what I'm talking about "2:08 - 2:25".
Anyway, what version do you use of FL? I can't decide what I want more. FL7 or Reason4. Please tell me the recommendations, because I truly want to be in the D.A.W. field.
I'm specifically building a Custom PC just to create music. - Your opinion will help me alot on what I should go for.

Hey man. I remember someone saying something like that, haha. It's blurry but it definitely lights something up in the back of my head. I'm glad you like this track, and yeah, I felt I had to add the original ascending buildup in there somewhere.
As for your question, currently I'm a little behind and am using 6.0.4. I've always preferred FL because, for me anyway, the piano look (and note input) is a lot easier than it is in Reason. There's a good chance I'm not doing it the right way in Reason, but the overall interface feels a lot more friendly compared to reason, while I really do think in the end Reason is the better program (if you only count standard instruments).
I guess you can always download the demos of both programs and see what you like the most. If you ask me, I'd recommend to start with FL Studio, it's a lot simpler in nature. But the starting instruments are really lacking, so you'd better start hunting for VST's in advance to get a head start.
