Reviews for "The Crow: Retribution"

Moody....

I liked the whispering bit. It was a bit spooky and to the point. On the other hand, it seems like there wasn't enough. As if it was TOO much to the point.

Ok

Graphics could have been better at times, and concept could have been more original. But good animation and overall, it looked pretty good.

Not Bad.

This isn't super-great or anything, but it's a lot better than a lot of stuff on the Portal. My only two big complaints are as follows:
1) He stabs him IN THE HEAD. That just makes people laugh.
2) Did you record that guitar yourself? If not, I suggest you throw the CD away. If so (and I think you did), practice some more before you record again, and use less distortion than you would live. What sounds cool coming out of your amp and what is listenable when recorded are two very different things. You may also want to have a drum machine playing while you record, or a metronome, or something that isn't being recorded to help you keep time. It sounded random and jumbled.
But the art was nice, and the vocals in the dream sequence were great. Overall, good job.

well,, i didnt actually play the guitar.. we didnt have the equipment on hand that particular day.. so thats why the guitar was fukt.. but u get that..

What happened, man?

It started out really well. I mean, really, really well. And stayed strong until just about the very end, at which point everything went all to hell. It was very profound..until, seemingly an afterthought, you decided to throw some blood and gore in along with the rest of the movie. A bad decision, in my opinion.

Good idea!

I like the idea but it wasn't done as well as it should have been. Im basicaly saying that the movie doesn't suck but it doesnt rock.
