Masterpiece
This. This should be featured in art museums across the world.
Take note of Ryu's structure, shall we? Firstly, the most noticeable aspect of this piece would be Ryu's bulging biceps. The shading and angle only further capture the realism, as it makes you think "I want to look like that when I'm older". But then you realize you never will.
Next, we have his meaningful facial expression. Take it as you will, but this facial expression is commonly seen on people during the most casual of events. Do you ever see someone smile like Mona Lisa does? I think not.
And lastly, we have the background. Such a wonderful, scene indeed. The beauty of it is left to the viewer. Where is Ryu exactly? Is he walking through a quiet town? Is he standing victorious over his fallen foes? No. He's anywhere you want him to be. I myself like to imagine Ryu standing in the middle of a quiet field, doing Shoryukens and Hadoukens to his heart's content.
Beautiful, indeed.
