I crossed the road 19 times, but it didn't register in the leaderboards!
Update 4/12/2024: I also crossed the road 23 and 28 times. I was hoping that it would register at this point cuz that's how a lot of Newgrounds games leaderboards are, but those scores still didn't make it to the leaderboards!
4/15/2024: My score keeps going up on the leaderboards, but my road crossings and combo fiends apparently don't make it up there. I got a 22x, and it says that my best was 14x!
4/18/2024: My score went higher in the leaderboards. Also, I got 38x for combo fiends, and that registered me to 2nd place in the all time leaderboards!
4/21/2024: I crossed the road 37 times, and it didn't register. This does not surprise me at this point.
4/23/2024: I think I got 41x for combo fiends, but it didn't register. I'm stuck at 38x!
4/24/2024: I increased my high score to 416,900 with like 60x for combo fiends, but it didn't register!
4/25/2024: I increased my high score to 658,850 with like 70x for combo fiends, but it didn't register!
4/28/2024: I increased my high score to 1,739,400 with over 120x for combo fiends, but it didn't register! I should be in 1st place in both those categories. Fuck this game!!!!!
5/2/2024: I crossed the road like 58 times, but it didn't register. Fuck this game!!!!!

your scores are good!! while making the game my best score was pretty much the same as yours. gorby perseveres in the face of adversity!! (and the grille of an 18-wheeler)

Although the amount of points the "fulfilment" and "stepcount" medals don't exactly match their difficulty for me.
The cars are unpredictable, and going down is a little harder due to the camera position making you see less. Took me a few attempts.
For fulfilment, I simply had to stand on the other end of the train track, and move once I got the points.
Other than that, I think the art style is neat, and the gameplay's fun.

secret gorby train strats... i hadn't considered that when i was making it! people already have high scores now, so i might put like, a 4x train cap on it, where after 4 train dodges you just get a normal 1x multiplier instead of 10x. means people can still get the fulfilment via train strat, so people that already did it that way don't just Have It For Free. instead, everyone has it for free! and as for the medals, i really thought they'd be a lot harder... my best score was like 50k before i put the game out. y'all are crazy! i'll add some harder medals, for sure. ones that stand up to train strats! i'm glad you enjoyed it!
