AWESOME graphics and presentation on this one. You're really bringing me back to the old days with this soundfont. (Fellow Pixeltone user, or just the Organya synths?) Great job on the music regardless. I love these character designs, the limited palette with this rusty/moldy sort of color scheme- meant as a compliment of course, and the combat and movement are fun to get used to. I'm getting a sort of nostalgic FLCL meets cave story vibe from the presentation?
I appreciate the attention to detail on things like the train going through the background of the first floor and the slight rumble of the screen as it does. Things like that really make me appreciate something like this. I can't put into words how weirdly nostalgic this game makes me feel somehow.
I'm not a fan of learning boss movesets when you have to start the game again to get back to them.
Good game, but I wish there wasn't as much endlag on dodges, though it seems to be more like intentional game design rather than a serious issue. Also, is there a place where I can download music from the game? It sounds really good.
