Is this the third mario brother that nintendo doesn't talk about?
I really like the way the hints of gameplay mechanics were done, like the one with the people hyped up in spice so much that they can't feel pain. I liked that one gave me a good belly laugh
simple little game, I like
few things to note in the future:
- when making platformers, make sure the drop is a bit floaty since for example here it's REALLY sudden the moment you let go of jump
- focus on developing the levels more, last two levels lasted less than a minute
- ladders are a bit jank here, try making the player snap onto them rather than just climbing where they started
other than that, no real complaints, it's exactly what you'd expect from a small NG platformer

Thanks for the feedback! One of the biggest criticisms thats still been as in this is the jump physics yeah. I need to go in and make it a little more floaty like you say. Definitely something I will do before the sequel comes out and probably back port to this one too. The next game will have longer levels with different sections. Sort of like how the park level here has a brief museum bit. Theres also a couple of bosses and minigames. Theres one level in it that will be short still but just because it’s more of a puzzle than anything else.
I’ll aim to improve the jumping when I get some free time later.
