Really good not gonna lie

Great so far! This beat really holds a dark and violent vibe. Like a virus. I don't know why, but I have a feeling this song shows some resemblance to a song called Killbot (forgot artist name) and some people say that is a bad song but I like it and so do I like this. I'd love to see this work extended.

SynthesisMusic responds:

It's by Devin Martin; it's pretty old dubstep. I'm not a huge fan of older dubstep, but that song has aged alright. Personally my favorite dubstep from that era was Au5's, which is much lighter and more comb-y. I'm glad you like this! As I've said replied to someone else, some of my inspirations for this track, who make music in a similar style, are:
Ampzer's Vocabulary EP: https://soundcloud.com/ampzer/sets/vocabulary
acloudyskye: https://soundcloud.com/acloudyskye/sets/a-place-where-mountains-hide

Ampzer is a little harsher and "dubstep-y;" closer to killbot. My own track is more like acloudyske's; pretty much electro house, but with crazy distortions and clips.

can i make a remix pls

SynthesisMusic responds:

go ahead ig!

when the wuhan virus got enough DNA for their next evolution.

Like the vibes in this, really dark and mechanical. Some parts in the breaks are very messy and are hard to take in but the drops are good. Also there is a lot of clipping going on work on leveling in some parts. Dope otherwise.

SynthesisMusic responds:

I tried to make it as intentional as I could; you can hear that there's no gain reduction, and in the waveform, you can see that I have it limited to -1db. I used a lot of soft clips, aliasing, and rapid LFOs in Trash2 to get that "blasting" sound, without technically clipping. I'll take your 4 stars as feedback that I probably went a little to extreme with it. Here are a few tracks I was using as reference:
