honestly just ok

It's too long to start, essentially non-animated, and very very dark. Most of the "animation" consists of yellowish heads bobbing up and down on a black background. Maybe dark colors are called for in this genre, but in this case it smells like an excuse to not have to draw as much. The rockin music and the premise of vampires aren't enough to get my blood pumping, without solid craftmanship to back it up. I think that the score is rather bloated, and this really deserves a 2.6 or so.

Lighten the background, draw more bodies, add more frames of real animation instead of moving around a head, and either reduce the opening credits time or give some way to skip by it.

The movie overall was a good idea executed poorly, I mean, the main character's name was "Lucifer" wow! thats creative! and doesn't in anyway make me expect that he'll be a vampire in this movie!!! <--sarcasm Also, I just was not impressed by the fighting...it wasn't "cool" or "new" or even viable in any way, WHY DIDN'T THAT GUY SHOOT THE FUCKING THING?!!! that pissed me off...and the last "drop kick" or whatever was terrible...good luck next time...

Nice drawings, good tone

That's about it for the good stuff. Your drawings definitely have a cool style. Cool car, and great backgrounds (tho the perspective is off in the stairway). Sadly, that's all that the art has going for it.

There is hardly any animation, the tweened movements are agonizing slow, and the characters have much less style in them than the backgrounds.

The music was good, but it didn't quite fit the action, which would have been better with more riveting music or some sound effects.

I did like the whole mood and atmosphere set up, but that took about half the movie to do and there was little time for any story or action. I thought I accidentally watched the trailer, but no, it was the "full length" movie.

Overall, you did a good job for your first movie, that's for sure. I wouldn't recommend that anyone actually watch this though. I watched it twice, just in case I missed anything, and I ended up losing another 3 minutes of my time. I was so glad it was over.

I know you have a lot of postive reviews and that will surely influence you to do another movie, but next time, try animating something. Please don't submit another slide show.

Lucifer

Lucifer was an archangel who rebbled against god and was banished from the heavens and became Satan.
also Lucifer means light bringer
