this song is so...terrifyingly...AMAZING.
If one had to translate the word "feral" into song form, this is a good representation of what it would sound like.
Thematically, this song is perfect. Despite the first and second drops not sounding alike, they flow cohesively and transition seamlessly into one another. The song is a little repetitive, but I think that is more than justified considering what this song represents.
All this and yet it still remains unique from the dozens of dubstep songs that I've listened to in the past. The second drop goes a lot harder (which I find a lot more interesting), but the first drop definitely has its merits and is by no means mediocre.
I don't usually write reviews since I'm no musical artist that can pinpoint the intricacies in how this was made. I doubt I could even name the instrument samples used to produce this. My reviews should be taken with a very coarse grain of salt, but this song just seems comparatively better than others within and outside of its genre. No amateur could replicate such a unique song with the same feeling that "Feral" gives off. It's not like it means too much in scope, but I rarely give five stars to songs unless I find them exceptional -- this is certainly one deserving of such.
Probably my new favorite meganeko song.
