Reviews for "Lone Wolf"

Did you sell your soul to play guitar this well? And, if yes, what's the number of your buyer?

Edit: I understand your problem, just not to that degree. I've been playing guitar/piano for a while now and I've had to abandon plans with old friends to practice and compose.

Eventually, we forgot about each other entirely and I was left with only people who I was stuck with.

As I got better, I yielded more friends and people who enjoyed my music and my older friends went down a path of drugs and overdrinking. I don't see them anymore but I'm glad I stopped before they tried to pressure me or something. I simply couldn't have music taken away.

Every friend I do have now is very supportive and have my back, so I feel like change was necessary in that regard.

Of course most people have their own problems and with music you must sacrifice.

Luckily, I didn't lose much yet. Only my hand's soft touch.

At this point I don't know what I'd do if I was forced to lay down music forever

And I didn't know that cats spoke French but as I always say: Gifler ou ĂȘtre giflĂ©.

KrinnValKhristi responds:

Sadly, you aren't far from the truth.

I have sacrificed a lot for music. I have put it before everything and everyone else before, and it has cost me dearly.

Some of my loved ones were lost because of it.

It's what this song is about actually.

It is about loving my guitar and music so much that I lose the people in my life because they ask me to put my guitar down. They ask me to put them over my priority to be who I am.

They learn that I choose music above almost everything, so... I must live in solitude.

It is true that if they asked me to throw away who I am in order to please them, they didn't really love me to begin with.

Therefore, I must be a Lone Wolf.

Thankfully, there are those that like my work. It helps me to realize it was not all for nothing.

I appreciate others' work as well.

Kor Rune in specific... omgeeeeerd that guy is sooooo talented.

Buuuuut anyways.... there are so many of us out there. So many musicians, and they are all beautiful in their own right.

Everyone has their own energy ya know? Our own "style".

I truly believe that it is an expression of our soul.

Beauty exists in all of us.

I just wish more people would open up to theirs so they would know what it is like to ask me to give up mine.

C'est La Vie as the kitties say.

You can have my guitar when you peel it from my cold dead paw.

*claws*

Loved it, especially the haunting outro. Could do with a good mix but your intentions came across.

KrinnValKhristi responds:

I do struggle with mixing still after so many years..... unfortunately.
