I hate to admit it but this doesn’t deserve the top daily spot at all. The animation is limited and the use of AI backgrounds really cements the fact that you fell off like those two old people in that one scene in Midsommar. With someone such as yourself who has been around NG for a LOOOOONG time, you think by now that you know that passing AI backgrounds as your own will absolutely not fly round here, but life truly has wonderful ways of surprising us with how painstakingly disappointing it can be sometimes. My sympathies are with all those others who deserve that spot much, much, MUCH more. Was it worth it to kill off what little integrity you have had left in order to churn this out? K byeeeeeeeee xx

I cannot in good faith be nice about this at all.
I’m honestly appalled at what I’m seeing.
- I was not entertained.
- The advertisements has more screentime than the actual cartoon.
- There is an AI generated background.
The only animation I see is the lip sync. That’s the only tiny decent thing about this.
I just am disappointed this was daily 1st— when I know you can do better than this. You just have to put the time and effort into this, you’re an animator. Are you proud of this type of work? Or are you just trying to shill as much content as possible for people who want Short-Term Attention entertainment?
Social media outside of Newgrounds isn’t kind to artists to put in effort into their animation work. Please do not add to this struggle on a site that’s shown us any measure of creative mercy.

So hosting an uncredited AI-generated background on a 23 second ad wins is cool and wins you daily feature, but extensively modifying just one millisecond of copyrighted audio, no matter how creatively is blasphemy, even though fair use says otherwise, with countless mainstream artists doing so? Got it. Message received loud and clear.
Look, I understand feeling like using it makes the job easier, but don’t use AI, man. Especially since it goes completely against the guidelines. This isn’t YouTube, you don’t need to rush these videos on here, take your time, and trust me, even if it’s sloppy, a person drawn background would look way better than this.
