I realize that you're doing this for practicality, but I think that that's basically saying that the other movie is all-around worse because of one little facet of the presentation. And there are lots of different factors that go into making a good movie, and chief among them, at least on my list, is originality.
Despite its technical limitations, the earlier LOZ sing-along was funny. That one had jokes and clever scenes, which gave it replay value. This one's clip art and screenshots, so it's kinda blah. Practical? Yeah. Entertaining? Not so much.

Lol, I love it!!! I thought it was really funny. Even though I don't sing-a-long with it, I still really like it. Don't let those people flaming you get you down.
