Reviews for "GROBLIN SURVIVORS"

So, the "correct" way to play is actually to focus entirely on canon towers. Get the tower upgrade upgrade, but don't get the second "more towers" upgrade.

Then focus entirely on making canons on the left side facing right and canons on the right side facing left. Do not spread them out, put them all in a single line. Not vertically. Horizontally. What you end up with is a line of death with giant balls crossing each other in the middle. It's just a constant stream of DPS. No combo towers needed.

When you don't get the option of canon towers, get poison towers as a means of improving the damage of your canon towers.

All you need is as many canon towers as possible shooting at each other in a single horizontal line. A giant never-ending stream of cannonballs.

This is because projectiles pierce enemies, multiplying their damage for each enemy hit effectively.

FishDev responds:

Haha yeah i def need to do some rebalancing

Definitely one of the more interesting takes on this style of game I've seen, I love the way the tower defense style completely changes the gameplay dynamic. Plus it carries the same sense of satisfaction from more typical tower defense games, watching your base build up and whatnot. I love it!! Also extremely charming graphics

(also if you weren't already aware, in godot you can do something like ` visible = !OS.get_name() == "HTML5" ` in func ready on the exit button to hide it in the browser version! since it just kinda freezes the game in browser)

FishDev responds:

You're a saint, thank you for the tip! I was considering just having two different versions but that'd be plenty tedious, this'll help a lot!

Love the gameplay

Looking forward to the full version!

Very charming and fun, I really hope to see this game on steam someday because I would buy it in a heartbeat! It's very fun and addicting and I just couldn't put it down, Amazing work <3
