Hes a real anime protagonist
So in this world everyone being stupid is normal, which is why there’s no fire department, they don’t just throw him outta the way etc., but here Keyman is stupid among what’s normal here, making him even stupider, and also crazy. I guess that also answers a question I had from the preview; if he can make a high tech skeleton key then why not get a high paying job as an engineer? The answer is that he’s not the one who made it.

You see how the police officer shot into the open window hoping to put out the fire? Thats evidence enough to show he's the one who decided to show up instead of the fire department.
This has a LOT of potential! a little long in the tooth for my taste though, personally 7 or 8 minutes probably should've done it. But still, I love the character designs in this and hopefully when you come back to this concept you some more wacky shit with it cause i think that's when it will reach it's peak in terms of how far this can go! good stuff good stuff

The original script was looking more like 8 minutes long, but there was so much improv from the voice actors and so many unexpected things that it went well over the time I was expecting. But I now know for future how to make these things shorter, and for my own sanity, it will be shorter. Thanks for watching/commenting!
I think this might be the funniest Newgrounds short I've seen in awhile.
