I'm glad you made this demo. The screen size is a little weird in browser, but I know how much of a pain that is to deal with. Awesome!
It's certainly fun, though of course the performance on Newgrounds didn't allow me to get very far (mortality 25 with extreme lag) compared to the Steam version (mortality 120, where I suicided as an untouchable wheel of death with even exploding enemies dying too far away for their projectile to reach me).
The variety of weapons is definitely good, but some seemed far better than others. Slime spikes were the most overall useful, and horns the least useful.
I'd suggest with the upgrades that they should stop being included as a choice when they become useless (the cooldown reduction in particular, since it has a minimum value of 10%). I assume sneak will do something eventually; maybe even let you escape some of the worst packs of enemies.
