user error

Ok. New question. What do I do once I get to the vampire’s castle? I can’t get past the barrier and in the rooms on the right a witch won’t let me into a room and she won’t respawn either. How do I progress through her? And how do I get to the vampire lord?!

splashykarp responds:

Oh, I see what the error was. I had the door switches set to "OFF". They should be fixed now.

The Witch is not supposed to respawn must be why the doors were messed up. So I went ahead and fixed that as well.

As for the secret rooms just look for cracks/openings in the walls. They usually have a secret passage. As for the boss depending on which one you are talking about it will vary. I'll need more info on which boss you are wanting to know about or at least the room, if you don't mind. Unless there's a glitch, nothing special needs to be done to fight bosses just have the right equipment and party alignment if they become a challenge.

I think you have something here but after playing for 5 hours I still am baffled at exactly where to go.

- A quest or map feature would be welcome.

- More dialogue between characters would be nice.

- Where do I change or how do I change classes? It's very confusing.

But it's not a bad start it just needs more life into it.
I found it rather charming.

splashykarp responds:

Thanks and we appreciate your criticisms and concerns as well as extend our thanks for trying out the game.

-For your first one, yea, in hindsight we should have programmed in a map. We will work on that immediately and patch it in ASAP.

-There are also several quests but I elected to not have them viewable, for some reason. In hindsight that was also a bad idea and will be addressed immediately.

- I will also patch in more dialogue between characters. My goal was for there to be the least amount of exposition as possible. Also a bad idea in hindsight.

- Class change is in the buildings (Prunina has one in the southern part of the town) with a Blue Star design. If you have a character that can class change the statues in the inside of the building glow and then you can make your choices. Another idea in hindsight that I should have made obvious or at the very least made a tutorial for. In the next patch, I will also make the building stand out a bit more and add in a tutorial.

I found several bugs, first one being not letting you inside Miisto's armor shop, invisible wall in the red forest, in the Tornas temple, in land of Dassium, at Nalord and at Prunina and the last one being Treeton, Fross temple, illumina temple and Dawn cave being inacessible.

splashykarp responds:

Appolgies for the delay. I spent the last couple days attempting to find the invisible walls. Here's everything I've fixed and solved. The new updates should be live within the next couple hours. Appreciate the help at pointing out some very important bugs that needed fixed. Just let me know if any other bugs appear or glitches.

- Miisto Armor Shop - FIXED (Bug found where the door was not taking you inside)
- Red Forest - FIXED (The tileset somehow got flagged as water and not a path. It's corrected
now)
- Tornas Temple - FIXED (Unsure of where the issue was exactly but retiled everything and went
through the Temple myself and it appears to be fixed)
- Nalord - FIXED (This map is supposed to only be a vacant area with a couple items. So the borders have been changed to reflect that.)
- Prunina - FIXED (There was supposed to be barrels there and they are now)
- Treeton - FIXED (Again I messed up on placing tiles and labeling them as Water tiles. Issue
has been resolved.)
- Fross Temple - FIXED ( I completely messed this one up. Not sure how I didn't notice. My bad.
It's fixed for sure now though.)
- Illimina Temple - FIXED (Couldn't quite figure out where the issue was but redid everything
and it appears to work perfectly upon testing.)
- Dawn Cave - FIXED (For some reason the Guard that gives the key was bugged out. That's
been fixed and the cave has also been subsequently tested and there appears to be no further
issues with it.)
- Land of Bassilin - FIXED (From what I can tell based on testing the map is back to functioning.
I am not sure what I did but redoing the map seems to have fixed it)

Fun. Having some issues in the first forest. Most of the exits such as Happy Forest and Salmon Forest don't work. About the only one that does is the one that takes you to the second forest with the pigs. Then the exits in that forest, the town and the maze work fine. It's just the first forest that has issues. Do they open up as you gain quests and XP because I have run out of locations to explore and they still don't work.

splashykarp responds:

Sorry for the delay. The First Forest area has invisible walls until you reach a certain point. There's supposed to be a prompt that let's you know. However, it appears that the prompt is no longer working and I am unsure why it is no longer working.

From what it sounds like you need to go to the castle and talk to the King. He will give you a mission that will unlock the East Exit of Prunina.
-Complete that mission and then head to where the Pig is and the path will open for the next Dungeon area.
-Complete that Dungeon and the path for Salmon Retreat will open.
-At the end of that will be the 3rd Dungeon (Aquanid's Swamp). Finish that.
-You will then have access to the Southern Areas of Goblin Forest.
-Harpy Forest opens up once you complete the 3rd Dungeon.

As for what I remember just beat the 2nd Dungeon and the area should open up to you. We will be putting out a new update here soon that should fix the issue. Just trying to work it out so that save files don't end up deleted.
