Reviews for "Take My Muffin S01E01"

Odd, but I think that’s what the creators were going for. 4/5 would bring demon girl to therapy

It feels like you tried to fit 10 episodes into one, fast-paced, hard to follow mix with a bunch of adult jokes that don't land. I feel like it would have benefited if you spread these details out instead of squishing these all together. The concept is good and the animation is fine, but it's difficult to fully follow unless you have PURE FOCUS on the show and don't let your mind wander into thinking about the show. Some "conflicts" are resolved in a matter of seconds, making nothing seem too consequential. Some characters seems pretty basic despite them being main characters.

It's like someone watched 3 adult shows and made three hours of content and then realized animation is expensive

But I like the animation kinda

Toonbox responds:

From 2018 to 2021, we wrote the scripts for all three seasons of the series. All the episodes are connected and everything that happens is one story in which all events are important. Yes, the series is very event-dense, but this is also due to the dynamics of modern content.

Love this! This reminds me of Silicon Valley mix with Rick & Morty. Animation is on point.

Toonbox responds:

Absolutely right. Both of these shows were references for the creation of Take My Muffin. That being said, the story of our show does not resonate with Silicon Valley or Rick and Morty in any way.

you know. the show itself is fine. the art and animation is well done and doesn't look jittery or bad. i do actually like the art style and simple plot and story passing.
but the reason why i gave this 3 and half stars is because i don't support nfts.
but credit i will give credit where it's due. some of the jokes actually did give me a laugh.
"That’s not a unicorn, that’s an ass horn!" ok. whoever was playing that character was pretty funny and a hilarious parody on that pulp fiction movie!
another joke i did laugh was the soda bit.
you know. i don't wanna judge people on how they make their money and fund projects to. but i'd personaaly stay away from the crypto and nft business.
if it weren't for that i'd rate this 4 stars.

i will always separate art from artist and business regardless.

Toonbox responds:

If the NFT helped us fund this series, there's nothing wrong with that. It's also how crowdfunding is one of the tools that allows art and entertainment to develop.

Its a fine enough show. But the selling of NFT's is such a sleazy business. Surprised this got front paged. They must not have known what its about.
Response: you passed the test, your an NFT bro, congrats.

Toonbox responds:

What does this have to do with business? We financed this series through the sale of the NFT. It's just a form of crowdfunding. We're not asking you, for example, to buy NFTs, are we? We're showing the show, for free. It has absolutely no effect on the story or the visuals.
