Reviews for "T.E.O.M. - Newgrounds Anthem (Produced By TheEyeOFMusiK)"

I can see this in a sci-fi type animation battle or game

Available for GD?

I like the bass and the kick, but honestly, I don't really like the song. It's not that its bad, its just not my cup of tea. You asked me to review this and I will honestly, but please do not think I am trying to be mean; I am just trying to give constructive criticism and be completely honest.

Some of these instruments don't feel like they fit together very well. The siren-like sound for example at 00:55 is distracting and pulls me out of the song; it doesn't to feel like it fits very well with the overall theme.

This is mostly me being picky here, but the reverb does not feel right for some instruments to me. Mostly the beepy noise around 00:40 feels like its needs just a bit more reverb, but again, just me being picky.

Me being picky again. The vocal at 2:10 is too quiet, I didn't even hear it on the first play.

I am just trying to give you feedback on what I thought could and should be changed with this song. If you loved making this song just the way it is, then keep doing that! make songs just the way you like them, don't let people tell you how to make music, otherwise you will stop enjoying it.

P.S. I may not have liked the music, but I can appreciate the effort and time put into this, good job.

Fantastic. These hip hop style drums and synths go together amazingly in a way I've never quite heard before, and the track mastering is absolutely fantastic.

I love when there are multiple melodies playing over each other (I wish I knew the exact terminology for this). It gives me an excuse to listen to the song multiple times and not get bored of it. Altogether this sounds epic.

With that being said, there are some sections of the song that appear to lack melodies (1:47-1:53 and 2:11-2:37). Something that doesn't appeal to me very much. If they had some subtle bass melodies perhaps they would've attracted my attention just a bit more.

Lastly, this is more of nitpick than anything, the voice clip saying "Let's Rock!" doesn't seem to fit the song too well in my ears. Perhaps if it said something more related to it's own genre. Alternatively it could have been a voice clip of one of Newgrounds many famous characters like Pico or a Tankman it would've worked really well with it being the Newgrounds Anthem and all.

That's all, I excitingly await the drop of this album.

Thanks and God bless you in your future endeavors,
JauqAr
