Things need to happen quicker though, the trailer just felt too slow. Most previews of this length manage to fit in a LOT more material...

That didn't make any sense. It was WAY too dramatic, like you don't even know how to create a story, but just rip off a bunch of general ideas. You're a good animator, but you really should get someone else to do the plot for you.
potential... but for what?
Funny thing about potential, is that it just means that it can be good, not that it will be. So this thing has potential. It also is a trailer that not only doesn't explain anything about the plot, but also is confusing as hell.
It looks like Neo ( with light colored hair and no small amount of psychological trauma)is pulled out of the matrix to fill in for Legolas who is busy getting it on with chicks who like men who glow, have pointed ears, and have experience at the same time looking incredibly effeminate. Sounds silly, well it's probably as good as the plot seems to be.
To all those that say otherwise...
I think that you have done wonderful. You are the first person for me to actually comment on. The depth and meaning behind your work is what surpasses all others. Yes, what your profile says is true--although one is to enjoy a laugh there is also those dimensions in life which are not so laughable. Although I would say I adored your other work much more, this one still has value to it and I cannot wait to see how far you take this story line. As a side comment, it is quite hilarious for one person to ask why you like fantasy so much. What people call fantasy now, was reality only a few centuries back. And it's the separation from that so called "fantasy" which is bringing on the demise of mankind.
Ok, but not good
It just seemed like moving pictures, either get better at 3D animation, or use the style use use for fairy sorrow. I like the story though, but why do you like fantasy so much?
