Reviews for "F-Zero X - Silence"

wow

if this song was a woman you wouldnt want to know what i would do with it

FlameMesial responds:

Silly thiret, you can't take a song to a bucket convention.

Thanks for the review :D

I'm Getting Down With This

The drum part of the song was the best part of the song. It also had great quality. The song was at a nice speed, fast but not too fast to not enjoy. The guitar leads and background guitar were also good. Even though the drum part was good, it took over the song a little too much, and the word silent didn't really fit the description with the song too well. The small bits of Bass added were also not that bad.

FlameMesial responds:

Nice one man, thanks for the review.
Wih the future tunes I do, I need to listen through on headphones. On my speakers, the quality is sound, but on these headphones yes, the drums are overpowering.

And I didn't name the song, this is a cover :P
The actual title is Dream Chaser, written by Taro Bando. Check it out!
Cheers again.

A great cover, it'll knock your socks off.

FYI, the song's name is "Dream Chaser".

Great tune though I'm bummed that the main guitar isn't as loud as in the original F-Zero X tune (too obscured by the drums).

Make that guitar stand out and you'll have one incredible tune.

FlameMesial responds:

Heh, I have all the songs from the F-Zero X Guitar Arrange downloaded on my pc, I know what they're called :P But if I put it up as Dream Chaser people wouldn't recognise what it is.

I'm kinda bummed aswell about the sound, in headphones the drums are too loud, but it sounds fine in my speakers.

Thanks for the review man.

Shweet! :D

Dude, thats a nice comeback you made there. Fucking sexcellent tune buddy. The kick is "kicking" like hell. It blasted my ears out! Yummy stuff. Do you still prog. them with a drumkit?

The guitar tone was crispy...though, the lead guitar could have used a little more tweaking. Other than that it shopped da whopped ma ballz.

Excellent playing!

I also fired ma lazorz on the score again! ;D

FlameMesial responds:

Cheers Weisn!! :D How did your drinking night go?
Yeah, I still program them, I have a better metal drumkit voice for my other stuff, but I felt that this voice was better for the overall sound of this song.

I regret making the lead sound a bt weak, I should have thrown a compressor on that bitch, or at least a little wah :P

Thanks for the vote man, much appreciated :D

Wow...

This one slipped right by me. Your playing just keeps getting better. Though I think the rhythm guitar is a bit quiet and in the back of the mix for the most part. Maybe that's what you were going for though. Other than that it's mixed pretty damn well. I'm glad to see you submit something new.

Oh yeah, PM me the e-mail you're using nowadays. For some reason Yahoo deleted you from my contacts list...fuckers. I want your opinion on some 3/4 drumming for a riff I recorded the other day.

FlameMesial responds:

Nice review buddy, thanks :D

With the rhythm guitar track, it's supposed to be like a backup for the synths rhythm, as it sounded a bit empty on it's own :P

Sure thing buddy, I'll drop my email by your PM.

Thanks for the review!
Flame.
