you could add a use _____ on _____ command if it's not too hard to implement! other than that, i really love it so far!
cool game, couple problems, i can grab the alternate, using either command without other input causes a crash, and there is no living room so there is no end. pretty cool though

It's really good, and an interesting concept, but I can't find the living room and idk if it's just me but I was fr was typing in random directions for half an hour :P
Rather fun and a good premise. I like the text-based style/gameplay. My only problem is that after a certain point, I cannot do anything I haven't already done, and I have no idea where the living room is. Am I supposed to be able to use my items, or is that an automatically triggered reactionary thing? Was I not supposed to pick up the monster in the garage? I figured if I was able to pick it up, it must be a joke, like, "Haha, not a *monster* monster, silly! A Monster energy drink!" (That, and the term used in the beginning was "alternate" and not "monster," which I assumed supported my joke theory despite being incredibly circumstantial evidence.) Now I'm starting to think I'm an idiot, and I was supposed to leave it alone and get the shotgun first. Maybe if I reload the page, I can restart...
EDIT: Yeah, no, unless I'm supposed to be able to use one of my items and I just don't know how, there's nothing I can do. I'm going to assume that either this is due to underdevelopment and will be fixed later on or I'm just an idiot. Both seem rather plausible to me.
