I'll never understand why people would self harm when they are dealing with issues, she clearly has a friend who is willing to talk to her in this time.
A good friend wouldn't allow their friends to harm themselves to get a feeling. I've stopped friends from self harm dozens of times, from cutting to smoking to drinking.
Most times if your friend is dealing with issues, they just need someone to talk to, so that someone else can understand what they are going through, and in that time, once they have been informed, you help them from causing themselves more self harm.
I hope there's a part 2 of that mawile helping her from doing this to herself.
