Neat
Preloader: bad...save the credits till the end. What I liked: The way character flew at the screen in the beginning...reminded me of some SNES action. Grey buildings in the background...gave it some visual depth, an increased sense of motion and style: it just looked cool. Deus ex machina at the end...loved it!
Nice technique
I liked the animation technique, there was some pretty nice detail there. Though I do have to agree about the credits - that was a rather annoying pre-loader if that's what that was supposed to be. I'd suggest rolling the credits by much, much faster and just having a typical "Loading..." kind of pre-loader - even if it's the same amount of time, it just seems like it would be less annoying. ;-) But even so, I thought it was a pretty decent toon.
