I played the first one, and I remember asking for more because I loved the game... glad to see Cactu-Sama coming back, with more features!
the real challenge is figuring out why the cactus doesn't like water
Actually, this can lead to a theory of big brainedness.
What if the cactus actually has mental health problems or something, and just imagines everything being all happy and sunny, but in reality it is just other beings trying to stop him from getting to the balloon, who is being forced to stay with cactus. That could mean that the "water" is actually something different, like maybe weed killer or something. Meanwhile, the spikes stay the same, likely because that makes the cactus feel more heroic in "saving" their balloon.
HOWEVER, there can be an alternate theory to this. Maybe the cactus found a way to live without water, and found a way to remove their spines, but if they touch water the spines regrow, which is why the cactus hates water because then their literal existence if they touch water is dangerous to the balloon (Hoping either of my theories are canon)
This game is fantastic! The level of difficult is perfect and it was even a bit relaxing to me! I loved every second of this!
