This is really well-done, my only complaint about it is that the wall jumping mechanic is a little too finicky and I died so many times when the level needed me to do that. Otherwise, it's a fantastic game and almost looks like it could be an actual Game & Watch game.

@Lambtaco I don't know how to reply to your reply, so this will have to do, sorry. But for me, it was more like the controls seemed a bit finicky to keep on the wall without slipping down and dying. Though it's entirely possible I just didn't understand how to properly do it.

Very simple yet solidly-built platformer. You nailed on one aspect that any good platformer games should ever have: great tight control. This game has that and it feels great to control exactly where Mr. Game & Watch should run and jump. The graphic and art are nice charming touch as well with paying respect to Mr. Game & Watch's history as LCD handheld games.

The only major gripes I have is that one of crystals is nigh impossible to collect. You know the one you placed within the bottomless pit with spikes on the wall? One of the spiky walls is two blocks high, in which make Mr. Game & Watch's wall jumping impossible to pull given that he only able to jump over 1 block high, not 2 blocks. At least other segments that require tricky wall-jumping are more sensibly designed that rewards your effort and punish your failure. This bottomless pit punishes you for even trying and that's not a great game design.

Even so, this is a very good platformer in which you should use it as inspiration to make more and hopefully great platformer games. You can't go wrong with having great control to start with.
