Reviews for "Zelda: The Sacred Passage"
The music is directly stolen from Ocarina of Time. Backgrounds are clearly livetraced from Wind Waker game screenshots. The little "original" art in this "game" is just bad, poorly shaded traces. The writing is godawful in whatever it was trying to be.
You call it a Zelda parody, but it really isn't. The dialogue in no way, shape, or form is like Zelda or parodying Zelda. You threw in random swears to try and make it a little funnier, but it clearly isn't. I don't believe there's ever been a button like that in a Zelda game, or a decision like that. I just don't understand what you were going for. There isn't enough content in this to call it a movie, there isn't enough reference to the source material to call it a parody, and there isn't enough interactivity to call it a game.
I probably couldn't do much better in Flash really. The difference is, I wouldn't try. I certainly wouldn't upload whatever horrific abomination I came up with to Newgrounds. This has no redeeming qualities, aside from maybe an example of what not to do, or as a test to students: "Duplicate this Flash as best you can in less than 5 minutes."

The most epic Zelda related flash of all time. It completely captures the heroic character of Link, and the graphics are the pinnacle of design. It was better than Cats. Really. I think the overall quality is truly reflected in the astronomical score I am giving it. Bravo, author-guy. Bravo.
