From a fan of the films and the score....
I really like the films and really like the scores and i really like this. From a musical point of view its good and I can imagine it raising the hairs my arms with a full orchestra. However I didn't like the ostinato rythm on the snare..it wasn't verry Palpatine-ish. The Palpatine theme is meant to resemeble his dark and hidden character so I couldnt see him giong for some big Napeoleonic coronation, which this music leands it self to. How about tinckering with it to make it more dark, more evil but less like a traditional coronation? I would love to hear more!

An outstanding effort.
It's not easy to tackle John Williams, especially when he was at his peak in the original Star Wars Trilogy. You have not disgraced yourself in the effort. The only thing I think the piece lacks is a bit of Stately Majesty, something to Glorify the (admittedly repugnent) event in all of its (terrible) glory.
I find it hard to criticize - after all, I have no talent for composition, but I felt that your work at the least deserved a response from me, even if it inadequately conveys my admiration.

I think in the future, I'm going to do less arrangements and more original work. It's too hard competing with greats like John Williams and Nobuo Uematsu on their own songs. ;)
