At least you tried.
Bonus points for at least attempting to do somthing with quality. Only problem is that it was pretty much the same place over and over and then credits.

first off a trailer is supposed to get the viewer hyped and be full of a sense of what you can expect from the full feature.
this was a dude walkin around real slow with a gun shooting shit. big deal. i get more kick outta Doom 1. never have fades in a trailer unless you are covering mutiple segments of whats coming up, like a scene from the beginning, fade, scene from the middle, fade, scene from the end. where there are fades, there should be music.
second, if the full feature is gonna be that slow with that kinda visuals, i dont wanna see it. there was no story and for an Aliens scenario, and escape setting is boring (re: Aliens vs Predator Marine Escape skirmish). improve your skillz or work together with some people that can put your ideas together in a better way.
i can generate ideas with the best of them but my buddy can. he sucks at everything that flash is about though, check out our teaser from my profile!
It's a start...
I found the first-person perspective an interesting twist, and the animation is okay if this isn't your best (better than average, anyway). But it needs to be a bit smoother, and the sounds need to be synched with the animation. Make sure you include a storyline as well; following some anonymous guy shooting aliens can get old if you play on it too long. Other than that... not bad.
Why Bother?
That was short and shit. I hope this was a first go cause if it isn't then you must be retarded or something. No Humour! No Violence! Why bother!
I will give you 1 mark for graphics because it took me back to my kindy days where i drew a picture of a sun with a smile on it and got a star sticker.
