I know I've been busy review that slick ass bastard Dr. Waldo, but I'm moving on!
About a year back, I started listening to 586rick, actually by accident.
you see, I am a BIG Mega Man fan, and good remixes that come from the love of music or the game are hard to find, so imagine the happiness I had when I found a composer who redid the old, 2-d classics JUST AS WELL as the new game remixes!
People 586rick is definitely someone to pick up a few songs by.
His originality mixed with the old feel of the song, is classic and something that will leave you at a sort of peace.
And check out the selection! Pick a game era, he's probably done it, from old Gradius to almost all of my mega man fav's (HINT, HINT, NUDGE, NUDGE, I WANT SOME Mega Man X Stuff!!!!), Rick has really done it all.

This spark man mix was one of a kind. The overall feel of it was amazing and I loved the dark electro kind of thing going on. Overall, great job on this one!

Things I liked:
The dark, master-mind feel the song had , kind of like it was plotting something, it made me uneasy but it gave the song an over-whelming personality that was irresistible.
The movement and tempo of the song was right-on man, It had me grooving all the way to the end man! REMIXERS! This speed is nice, steady and almost driving (Put in some more "umpf" to the beat for that), and keeps the listener moving through the song. If it's to slow, the listener won't even finish! If it's too fast, people like me who are sensitive to unbalanced music, will flip. This is just right and could even use some bigger beats and could possibly be 5 bpm's faster.
Good counter melody at the top, mimicking the actual melody, it was fun.
Good choice of synths, VERY. I really liked how well this song balances.

Things that annoyed me:
That "clap" noise in the percussion made me want to destroy my computer, PLEASE GET RID OF IT. This song is too good to be ruined by a little "repetitive" and "out of place" percussion. Otherwise Rick, the percussion was smooth and blended well, but that clap really stood out like a sore thumb.

Overall, Rick, your unique sense of style, and GREAT sense of balance in almost all of your music (NOT YOUR MAGNET MAN REMIX). I really enjoy the smoothness and moving tempo’s of your songs, however, am I correct in assuming that you got your original musical inspiration from Gradius and Mega Man? Your style mimics them greatly.
