😍beautiful this was 🤩truly a masterpiece
Greatness. Every cell has little animated touches to give the old-school movie aesthetic, right down to the brief imperfections. The humor and storytelling abounds, in all the motions and also the subtle details - every moment has to be watched intently!
Also, I like the different interpretations of the story's meaning which some have shared. So, here is mine: The hero wanted to gain acceptance, so he tried to please his father by being a knight. He gained lots of experience and renown; however, he doesn't actually grow up until accepting himself, which happens immediately for comedic effect!

oh my gosh this is so sweet. great storytelling too - a normal "hero's journey" story would take hours upon hours on end but this was neatly put together into 5 minutes while not losing any of the emotion. great work!
