Reviews for "Can't Let Go 2.0"

My favourite song of DJVI in Geometry Dash sounds better than before!
This is amazing! Love to do the countdown before the drop =)
The unique problem is that the drop is like...hmm, I don't know: maybe not to exciting.
Great song anyways :D

I just wanted to download it. So please add that soon.

Cool. But vocal... Start was great, i can't say something bad, but later vocal not good for me.

PS: mb who like it)) Thx for read)

Impressive. This is much better than the previous, and probably one of my favorite tracks, however I do have a little bit of criticism for this:
-The drop could have drum and bass slightly sprinkled in, which would add a lot more rhythm in my opinion.
-The drops were also too repetitive. Maybe change the melody slightly a bit?
I'm not sure, I'm not a music expert, but that's just my opinion on things. Who knows what you could do next? Perhaps Cycles 2.0! (Yes, I do know there is a Cycles 2015, it just seems that these songs are your most popular and your best.)
EDIT: Cycles 2015 exists, but maybe... xStep 2.0? I'm running out of ideas :P
Keep up the good work DJVI!

DJVI responds:

Thanks for the review! Cycles 2015 is basically a 2.0 version but I might still do a Cycles 2.0 at some point :D Or maybe I'll start doing 3.0 remixes xD

Looking back at this track, I believe that the criticisms of the "empty" drop really boil down to the pitch of the kick drum. It seems to be one octave above optimal sub frequency , which is between 40-50 Hz. If your kicks were just one octave lower, the sub bass could provide that extra headroom to create a "fuller" drop without adding much else to it!

Anyway, that's my two cents on a two-year-old track. Hope this gets to you and helps you with creating more hard dance music in the future.
