Indeed something honed in on the mythology of the Great Phoenix. such a whimsical magical bird. Short and sweet. good stuff!

Nice
A completely different tone than Virgil one, but still in keeping with the similar visual style so as to keep the two animations connected yet unique, I really dug the way the music fit the animation so well, they really gave it a great sense of whimsy.

It was short but still really cool. The story was "touching" in a small way. I like hearing about the Phoenix. I liked the music because it sounded like Final Fantasy music. Is it from a Final Fantasy game, did you create it, or did you just find it somewhere?

I just reviewed one of your other movies, "The Creator" and i only realised who you were when i'd finished writing the review. If id known it was you, the flash artist i have at number 3 (i think) of my favourite flash artists i probably wuld have added a smily face or sumthing else thought to be obsecure and pointless. Anyway great movie, the colouring technique reminds me of Magnolia, where the main colours are red and blue (of the american flag i assume). Very good make more :)

Ah, Mr. Thomas your animation never ceases to amaze me yet it exceeds my expectations. Interesting what you chose to colour, if their a particular reason that the flower and fire are coloured as opposed to the moon? I have no quarell just curious...

The flower symbolizes hope and the fire symbolizes rebirth. I wanted to highlight these two aspects and thought the coloring helped to do that.
