Well animated, but...

Well... Imagine that you are a North Korean. Suddenly the president of the strongest country in the world, armed with hundreds of nuclear weapons, says that your country is within the axis of evil. Then he attacks Iraq. Wouldn't you be scared that the next target could be your own country? Thousands of Iraqi people died in the war - so why shouldn't happen the same thing to North Korea?
I don't know if the North Koreans have really made those weapons, and I don't know how many they made, but it would definetly won't be enough to win against the U.S. If N.K. attacked the U.S., maybe the U.S. army would turn whole N.K. into hell. It's simply impossible that N.K. strikes first. That would be suicide.
Don't you understand? The few nuclear weapons N.K maybe has are just for defence! USA maybe are always the good guys in our eyes, but North Koreans would definetely not think so. Actually, I myself am not sure about that, either.
So before blaming NK for saying that they have nuclear weapons, we should blame ourselves for giving them no other choice.

a.) North Korea only started their nuclear weapons program after Bush mentioned them in his 'axis of evil' speech. Weird coincedence, or is your own president pissing off every other country in the world and forcing them to cover their own ass in case he decides to spread his idiotic brand of 'democracy' across the world via invasion? Oh wait.

b.) I guess you've never heard about second-strike capibility before. Look it up.

ok, except for 1 thing

the movie wasn't bad. music went well with the movie. i totally disagree with your message though. just because north korea has the bombs, doesnt mean they'll start firing unprovoked. not being from the u.s. i could just as easily make the same unjustified argument against them. also the concept of north korea firing nuclear bombs on targets as close as japan and china is retarded. they would also be wiped out when the bomb hit. im not saying they dont pose a threat, because they do.
maybe you should have waited a few years to release this movie. the u.s is stuck in iraq right now. they shouldnt start pulling out now, it would be stupid. they have to see it through to the end, even if they lose (vietnam ?)
but still, its nice to see a movie that at least tries to be thoguhtful on ng

Every once and a while, it's nice to see a flash that doesn't involve senseless violence, gratuitous sex, and crude humor. I totally disagree with your message. I believe that Iraq is indeed a threat (not to say that N. Korea isn't). As far as aggression goes, Iraq has committed many more hostile and belligerant actions than N. Korea has done in recent (note recent) years. Not to mention the fact that Saddam Hussein frightens me far more than the North Korean leadership because of his ties to theological fanaticism (even if he himself doesn't believe it) and terrorism in general (oil money does go somewhere).

That aside, you're showing awareness and thought in NG, a very rare thing. Bonus points ;).
