This game is everything promised. A relaxing little trip to go out fishing.
My Gameplay and comments:
- I'm not getting any music. *update* it starts up random at about 20 minutes.
- I got my first bird at 8 minutes of playing.
- I'm pretty sure I'm catching the same dolphin over and over again. I don't know why he won't just move on.
Fisherman Journal Entry - Minute 1 of Fishing: My first 3 casts all have new species, this'll be easy to fill out the card with 32 unique entries!
Fisherman Journal Entry - Minute 10 of Fishing: I'm 8 out of 32 species discovered, I just need to keep a positive outlook and stick it out and go for completion!
Fisherman Journal Entry - 40 minutes of Fishing: I'm halfway through specimen collection, but these catfish and dolphins keep taking my bait. I need different fish, I must have them all. They mock me from below, waiting, laughing...
Fisherman Journal Entry - Unknown Date:
It seems I've been at sea for what might be an eternity.
Days upon days of gentle waves my head is swimming in a haze.
I saw a seagull once.
I have a mouth, but it does not move. I cannot scream, although I wish it so.
I have no place for food, so I have not eaten.
I have no bed so I have not slept.
Ah, I have eyes, but they stare into eternity, they do not blink. To blink would be to miss a moment, and to miss a moment, means I'll never complete my collection. The sea is calling me, peering into my soul, I see my reflection, blurred in the waves, and I feel my mind start to blur.
Lap... Lap... Lap...
The water beats at my boat, and I have no sense of time.
Lap... Lap... Lap...
Repeat... Repeat...
The suns falls.
The moon rises.
And then suddenly! A Catch!! Could it be, the thing I'm seeking, something new, and amazing to complete my search, complete my duty, and fill the that missing stamp in my soul?
No, it's just a squid, like a hundred before, and a hundred after. The same as Nothing.
I'll just keep staring into the abyss, praying for something new. For I am bound to this place for all of eternity. I must find 32. No more, no less, lest I be shunned for not completing my task. There is no other place for me unless this thing is done.
Lap... Lap... Lap...
I must warn others to beware this peril.
Lap... Lap... Lap...
*Sigh* At least it's been nice weather.
