It might just be Breakout, but it's the best damn version I've ever played. I can tell you did everything you could to make this as best as it could possibly be. One small request though, is there anyway you could add a fast-forward of sorts to the game? I often find myself just waiting for the ball to get to the battle with no way around it...

I really gave this a big fair try, it's fun but is just a little weird? I gave up on trying to finish the final level-first time I had lost and had to refresh the page because it wouldn't let me click after the girl's joke (which I do like the jokes before the levels!) then second time I spent a collective time of a least 20 minutes stuck between the floor and a dark grey block, bouncing up and down. I had it happen between other blocks too, which kinda takes the fun momentum out of the game.
It'd be fun if the upgrades lasted a little longer, especially when you're stuck waiting to actually hit something because the drill is just going side to side for a while. Or maybe even a power up "shop" sort of thing? Using the gems you collect would be a fun way to get smaller upgrades (maybe like both permanent and consumable upgrades?)
It's a fun game, though has some realllllly weird things going with the drill's movement and bumping into or off of things. I'm sure you'll iron it out, though, you have a nice thing going so far.
How tf do you control the ball
I'm having the same problem as @ipeerownu so I can't play, will check back later to see if it works. Good luck on the game!
