I started playing the Medieval Cop series when it was out on Kongregate, & when I learned that VasantJ was no longer publishing his games there, I never really understood why. I still enjoy the series, but I gave this game 4 stars because it was not the best work. I will continue to play, however. But I felt compelled to share my thoughts.

CONS of the game
- It did not feel like a true Medieval Cop game. It was more of a "I need to tell you this" message (Which could have been done as a closing remark, & all of the fans would have completely understood.) It felt too personal.
- When I play the other games in the series, I could see the characters as individuals. In this game, I could only see the other characters as real life entities.

PROS of the game
- It was interesting to see the interaction between Dregg's Parents.
- It explained what happened with Kongregate & Flash, as I never really understood it.
- Learned a lot about how VasantJ feels about himself (Honestly, I feel like he poured a lot of himself into Dregg's character, so I was not really surprised by this).

I just wanted to say to VasantJ that it's great to be humble, but don't beat on yourself too hard. You do great work with these games. Death threats are never great, & I am sorry you had to experience them. You still have a loyal fan base & they will always be there with you. You are also probably not as ugly as you made yourself to be.

BTW, you should definitely use your in-game avatar as one of your icons.

About getting stuck on 4 clues, after running around and trying everything on everyone again found out I had to use a clue on someone who gave me it after it caught up some things, either I missed it or didn't bother clicking on it with that person as it has always gotten me a "yeah I gave you that clue" response before.

And forget the badge hunters. Not worth your time man.

I felt this was by far the worst of the episodes ever released. Too much whining and metacommentary. Plot was formulaic, and once I saw the characters, I knew where this more or less going. Wanted to complete it to see what else there was, and only the parental interaction and the cutscene at the end were really enjoyable.

Reading other comments, it seems this was written at least partially by fans on Discord. The discordance with the rest of the series really shows. Looking forward to the next installment, hopefully without fan writing.

VasantJ are you okay? did one of your loved ones die recently and that is why you added that abrupt addition to the ending?

I have the same situation as johntfs, I have the four clues in the top right, I have the "Climax" situation after collecting 8 things, and now I can't find anything else to do.

Maybe relevant is that I found a rag in a trashcan earlier, and it didn't seem to do anything or update anything.

Edit: rag wasn't relevant. In case anyone else finds themself stuck there, Sir Kong is the next person you need to show a clue too. I can't see any way this wasn't a "try everything on everyone" unfortunate situation.
