The game is pretty fun though I would like to offer some suggestions.
The first is that magic needs to either be buffed in either damage or utility or have a way to passively restore mana between fights or alternatively tying the size of your mana pool to your overall levels instead of it's own skill. As it stands, you've very little reason to use magic as it will do less damage then your basic attack while also being limited use due to your mana pool being very small. This leaves it without a real role as it is neither good for farming nor for fighting hard opponents. The previous version's take on magic while simplistic did offer it a role in that type counters did more damage then your basic attack would, giving you a reason to use it in combat as well as countering effects, healing and adding to your basic attack damage. By contrast the closest thing to utility offered is the ability to reduce your opponents mana which isn't very helpful. Grinding magic meanwhile is extremely tedious, as your only realistic ways to refill mana are with items or going back to the shop as your basic attack will at worst 2 shot the average echo making using the combo attack to regen mana impossible. All in all this leads to magic being effectively useless when compared to just hitting things with your basic.
Another suggestion is for there to be a more efficient way to see all the different girls' scenes then having to alternate between going to the dumpster (after you spend a good while to get to the rare echo) and going to the girl's location to talk to her. Camo for instance has some scenes that are available only at the dumpster and others only available if you talk to her. This wouldn't be so bad if these two locations weren't on the opposite sides of the map. It's also an issue when you haven't unlocked a girl at the dumpster yet as their locations are spread across the map rather then concentrated in one place.
Also while I suspect it's probably already in the works a gallery for the various enemy forms like there was in the previous version would be greatly appreciated.
Otherwise it's been a very good game so far and I would look forward to seeing new versions of it.
